- Description: The performers were all about 18 or thereabouts. This group wore red blankets with rows of white braid on the girls' skirts. The girls wore very attractive circlets of beads on the head, passing over the forehead and bead chin straps, also a head band passing over the top of the head and round the base of the skull. The sexes were divided dancing at right angles to each other and the girls kept up a shrill high descant. The men danced in a circle as tightly packed sardines. The main feature of the boys' costume were the immense number of strands of beads wound about the hips to a depth of 18 or more. The edges of the blankets were also beaded. - Description: The performers were all about 18 or thereabouts. This group wore red blankets with rows of white braid on the girls' skirts. The girls wore very attractive circlets of beads on the head, passing over the forehead and bead chin straps, also a head band passing over the top of the head and round the base of the skull. The sexes were divided dancing at right angles to each other and the girls kept up a shrill high descant. The men danced in a circle as tightly packed sardines. The main feature of the boys' costume were the immense number of strands of beads wound about the hips to a depth of 18 or more. The edges of the blankets were also beaded.
